A typical conversation with Analis

Recently we were eating at a Chinese buffet and as I (Jon) was painstakingly shelling my shrimp Analis struck up the following conversation with me.

"Daddy! you don't like the tail (referring to the shrimp)?" she asked.

I responded "No. the tail is yucky. I like to eat the body.

After a brief pause she said "Daddy, I like your body."

"Oh really." I replied

"Ya" she said. "Your body has bones in it. Bones are hard. You have bones in your arm."

"Uh huh. I also have bones in my legs, and in my fingers" I added.

Without even letting me finish what I was saying, her face lit up and with her eyes just about as wide open as she could make them she blurted out "Daddy! Dogs eat bones!"

I just thought I would share one of the more entertaining conversations I've had in the recent past. As you can tell, Analis has a very long attention span.
